At PayU, we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on society by supporting the Government's Digital Bharat mission. Our initiatives focus on extending outreach to remote areas and aspirational districts, where we create awareness about digital literacy, government savings schemes, digital fraud prevention, and financial inclusion. Additionally, we support NGOs and government organizations that promote women's empowerment and entrepreneurship.

Key Projects Undertaken:
#1 - Season Of Giving - CSR Months (November 2023 - January 2024):
PayU launched its largest employee volunteering program, engaging PayUneers to contribute their time and skills towards community enhancement. The focus was on skill building, digital enablement, socio-emotional learning, and youth capability building. Over 400 PayUneers participated, investing 800 hours across 23 activities in partnership with 3 NGOs to make a positive impact.
In Aug’23, PayU hosted financial literacy workshops in Bengaluru, Noida, and Mumbai, empowering 78 students (ages 8-16) from underserved communities. 5 key learning modules were covered to instill healthy money habits and financial freedom.
#2 - Customized Workshops with U&I (June 2023 – April 2024):
PayU deployed 3 mobile vans to bring digital and financial literacy directly to to underserved areas in Bangalore, Gurugram and Mumbai.
#3 - PayU Digital and Financial training via Mobile Van ( Dec 23-Dec 24)
Sep’24, PayU senior leaders participated in Teach For India’s Leaders Week to inspire and empower students across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and beyond.
#4 - PayU’s Collaboration with Teach for India Leader’s week(Sep 2024)
PayU is proud to contribute to RBI’s ‘Har Payment Digital’ mission by adopting 5 villages across Bijnor, Bulandshahr, and Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh to promote digital payments and financial literacy.
#5 - PayU Village adoption drive
PayU partnered with Neevjivan NGO to empower tribal women through skill development, financial literacy, and digital payment training. The initiative sponsored vocational entrepreneurship in local occupations such as beekeeping and mushroom cultivation. PayU employees also engaged with beneficiaries, providing hands-on digital training to ensure safe and secure transactions.
